As the premium apartment market moves beyond the narrative of standalone projects toward competition based on the ability to deliver a consistently high standard of living, product development approaches must also evolve. In this context, the Imperia high-rise apartment line by MIK Group demonstrates a clearer direction, being developed under a cohesive and consistently applied system of standards.

A new system of standards shaping the Imperia line
Recent Imperia developments clearly reflect a shift in how MIK Group approaches the high-end apartment segment. While each project was previously delivered as a standalone product, Imperia is now being restructured under a more systematic framework, with consistently applied principles across developments.
This transition is evident in projects such as Imperia Signature Co Loa, Imperia Sky Park, and Imperia Ocean City with its first phase, The Parkland. In these developments, living spaces are designed with a stronger focus on real-life needs – ranging from movement and relaxation to community connection.
After more than a decade, approximately 17,000 Imperia units have been delivered to the market. Looking ahead, the company plans to develop an additional 200,000 units under the I Series, signaling a significant expansion in scale for this segment.

Within the high-rise product structure, the I Series is positioned as a premium apartment line representing a new phase of development. More than just a segment, it is defined as a system of standards, where four key elements planning, design, living environment, and amenities are developed in a cohesive and integrated manner. Derived from the letter “I” in “MIK,” the I Series embodies the philosophy of Inspire & Improve, aiming to meet real housing needs while continuously enhancing quality of life over time.
At the launch event of the M – I – K product lines, Mr. Nguyễn Dũng Minh, Deputy CEO of MIK Group, shared: “The market is shifting from selecting individual apartments to choosing a measurable and consistently maintained standard of living. Therefore, in this new phase, we are developing the Imperia line under a unified system of standards – All New Standard to ensure a consistent and reliable quality of living across our entire project portfolio.”
From a development perspective, the key lies not in individual elements, but in how they are interconnected into a complete structure. Planning is organized to balance private and shared spaces. Design prioritizes functionality, maximizing natural light and ventilation. Green spaces are integrated as part of the living infrastructure, while amenities are curated with a streamlined approach, focusing on practical, everyday needs.
In practice, recent developments have begun to clearly reflect this approach. The Parkland emphasizes a balance between green spaces and amenities, while Imperia Sky Park focuses on optimizing vertical living, with particular attention to natural light and ventilation.

From accumulated foundations to a unified system of standards
The foundations of Imperia were not formed overnight. Earlier developments such as Imperia Garden, Imperia Sky Garden, and Imperia Smart City have all contributed to positioning the brand in the market, shaping its image as a premium apartment line defined by modern design, comprehensive amenities, and a well-curated living environment. However, in the previous phase, these values were largely accumulated on a project-by-project basis, rather than being systematized into a unified development framework.
From a market perspective, this marks a notable shift. As homebuyers move beyond simply seeking a good product to prioritizing a stable and consistently maintained standard of living, the competitive edge is no longer about delivering individual successful projects, but about sustaining quality at scale.
In this context, the development of Imperia under a unified system of standards can be seen as a natural evolution. It does not represent a change in positioning, but rather the standardization of values that have already been validated by the market, enabling their consistent application across future developments. Imperia is therefore transitioning from a recognized product line into a comprehensive system of standards designed to sustain a consistent quality of living across projects.

Collaboration with international partners in planning and design also plays a key role in ensuring that these standards are implemented more consistently and aligned with global practices.
In the coming period, MIK Group will continue to expand the Imperia line across key markets, including Can Gio an area gradually emerging as a new growth pole in Ho Chi Minh City’s strategy to extend its urban space toward the sea.
This expansion is not merely about scale, but also serves as a basis to validate the adaptability of this system of standards across different development contexts. For Imperia, it marks the next step in refining a product model that has already been tested by the market, moving toward a more sustainable approach that closely aligns with the real living needs of urban residents.
